Tyranids 3 for 3 so far!

So the last 2 times I have gone to my FLGS I had brought the Tyranids again. This week I fought against one of our better players at the store and current LAtCS Thunderdome Champion, Matt "Long Hair" and  his Space Wolves. Last week I fought against one of the newer guys at the store. He has been around for about a year now but keeps jumping to different books, last week he had Dark Angels Deathwing with some Ravenwing support.

Tyranids Bat Rep

So I have been busy again over this last week. I finished up those gargoyles you saw in my last post and on Monday night I decided to paint my "new" Hive Tyrant (pics to come). I also got a game in with the bugs and had a great time. I played not resident Tyranid player so we had some bug vs bug action. In the end the bugs won! Imagine that!

My week in 40k

So this last week or so have been rather eventful. I got a game in and assembled and painted some minis. Lets start with some modeling!

I have had an Land Speeder on sprue next to my desk for awhile now... about 9 months. And I had a little inspiration to get it build and to finish the other one I have already built and painted. So I built the new Speeder on Thanksgiving and magnetized it along with the Typhoon Missile Launchers from the older Speeder. Then on Black Friday I got to painting!

FLGS 40K Campaign started

One of my friends from my FLGS decided to try and start a campaign based around the same idea that the G3 Santa Cruz group came up with. My buddy is "newer" to 40k, he has been playing for about a year and a half now I believe so he asked me and a couple of our other friends for input on the campaign guidelines and ideas, but for the most part we are just letting everyone play their normal games and we come up with a story based on what happened in the game.

Celestial Lion hobby progress.

This last Saturday I was a little board as I was trying to re-install Star Wars: The Old Republic so I decided to get some paint on some of the models that have been sitting around for a bit. I decided to work on my Predator.

Veterans Day 40K Tournament Results

So this last Sunday I ran a 1,500 point tournament at my local store and something odd happened. A ton of people showed up!

This was our first 6th edition tournament at our store so it was going to be a learning experience for me with any odd rule questions and to see how my missions worked out.

Halloween army list.

So I thought with tomorrow being Halloween I would take a fun list to the store tonight with the Halloween theme in mind. Here is what I have come up with at 1500 points.

Hobby Progress: Magnetizing Forge/Maulerfiend and Heldrake part 2

So after realizing that I did not have the pictures to show off the rest of the Forge/Maulerfiend and requests on the Heldrake.

Let us start with finishing the Forge/Maulerfiend.

My take on Chaos and hobby progress.

Ok so the new Chaos Codex is out and I am really enjoying seeing the CSM section of forums become more active. Chaos Space Marines were my second army when I started them back in 3rd edition. They have since then become my largest army and the one I have played most over the years. I was able to get a copy of the new Codex a little early had have gotten in a few games with them so far. So this will be my take on the book as well as some hobby progress with a couple of the new Chaos models.

40k rules interpretation

So I have been cruising around some of the forums and have seen some rule interpretations that I just can't agree with and though I would share a few of them with you or just vent some of my frustration.

The first one I will bring up is casting Psychic Powers after arriving from reserve. The interpretation I have been seeing is "you are not allowed to cast any powers that are done at the start of the turn, this includes powers that are cast at the start of the movement phase. The movement phase is the start of the turn."

"I can kill you with my brain."

The West Cost Podcast Alliance: Golden Ticket Event!

So for those of you who listen to Life After the Cover Save, The Independent Characters, and or Imperial Vox Cast know that they were running a drawing to go to an event to meet and play 40K with the Podcast crews. Well I was lucky enough to be invited to attend the event that RoboEds Thunderdome.

Painting Marines and a MotF!

So I was able to get in some painting time yesterday and took advantage of it as long as my back could handle being hunched over the table. I was able to get a gold base coat and wash on the Tac Marines and got most of the Master of the Forge done.

New hobby progress!

So as you may have noticed I have not been updating the blog recently. As you saw from my last post one main reason has been the weather and not really being in the mood lately. That has changed a bit recently!

"Man it's HOT!" my 40k update.

I have noticed that I have not posted in a little while so I thought I should fix that issue. I have not been doing much in the realm of 40k lately much to my dismay. As I live here in the High Desert of Southern California it has been rather hot over the last couple weeks and that has been just zapping away my energy to really get anything done.

Building SM Honor Guard, looking for ideas.

For a while now I have been wanting to model up some Honor Guard and with the recent changes in 6th Ed I am thinking that may be my next project. I have several ideas of how I want to model them, but I am not sure how well they will work at the moment. I want them to be rather ornate and highly decorated as they are the veterans of the highest order in the chapter.

Tactical Terminators in 6th Ed.

So last night I had a 1500 point game against Black Templars. We played "The Big Guns" with a Vanguard Deployment, and I must say it was a fun game. I was running my Celestial Lions Space Marines and decided to try out a Terminator heavy list to check out how good they were now with the recent changes to weapon AP values. I ended up taking 16 Terminators in this game, 10x TH/SS, 5x Tactical Termiantors (1 CML), and my Librarian.

I have to say I was extremely impressed with the Tactical Terminators. Not only were they able to assist in taking out a couple Vindicators with shooting, but also most of the work against a unit of 8 Assault Terminators, and a unit of Crusaders with a Chaplain. Now that a 2+ armor is able to save against most "Power Weapons" the survival of the long discounted Standard Terminator is coming back. The Lightning Claw Assault Terminators that would normally tear the standard Terminators apart ended up hitting like a couple kittens while my Power Fists were just turning them into mush.

Terminator Librarian and 6th Ed thoughts on Challenges

So lately I have not gotten in a lot of hobby work. I still have 20 tac marines, 5 scouts and a captain and command squad to put together not to mention I still need to finish painting and basing the Terminators I took to the Apoc Game.

But in the last 5th Ed Tournament because I ended up playing and picked up a Terminator Librarian as my entry fee I decided to put him together after looking at the 6th Ed rule for a bit.

"Call me Primus Masavo!"

I made a difference and so can you!

Well Forge World is out with their updates for 6th Edition and they are asking for your questions. After I found out they had the updates on their website I decided to take a look at what changes they made to the units I own and wont to own.

Flyers Beware!

Most of it looked much like what I expected but one thing popped out to me. The Contemptor Mortis Dreadnought had a special rule that gave it Skyfire if it did not move during that turn. This was to replace the "AA" rule that it had before if it did not move.

Thunderdome Battle Recap and our last 5th Ed Tournament

Well I will try to make this short and sweet in regards to the Thunderdome fight. I could not roll anything other then 1s and 2s to save my life. In the first 10 rolls I had like 7 1s and that was the trend most of the game. TL-Lascannons from the Land Raider rolls to hit were 2s then the re-rolls were 1s. On my turn 1 my drop pod scattered 2" (snake eyes) I did manage to pen the Psyfleman 3 times, but the results were 1,1,2... and it was like that all game... not much else I can really say. If the dice aren't with you, or even average your not going to win. And in this case all my major shooting with Twin-Linked and built to counter bad rolls, but I had no such luck...

On the plus side, my opponent bought me custom dice to match my army (gold/blue)! Yay for new dice and a cool guy Biffomatic!

Now for our last 5th ed. tournament.....

Thunderdome Battle Result!

Well the fight at the LAtCS Thunderdome has been completed. I won't tell you the results here yet, as I will direct you the Episode 51 of the Podcast HERE. I will try to post a short synopsis of the battle in a day or 2 to give you time to listen to the episode.

Entering "The Thunderdome"!

Well tonight I set into "The Thunderdome" to face my impending doom of Biffomatic and his Gray Knights/Draigowing. I have had 2 games against Gray Knights since I knew I was going to be facing them in "The Dome", one was a tie against an almost exact copy of Biffs list and the other was the win that I posted the BatRep of. Both games were against the less experienced DaddyT, so I don't know what kind of "advanced" trick Biff may have up his sleeves and that makes me a bit nervous.

it is time...

Battle Report: Celestial Lions VS Gray Knights

So I was invited over to DaddyT's house to get in a game of 40K the other night, which was nice because I have been itching for a game. I had written up a new army list I was wanting to try earlier in the day, and DaddyT wanted to try out a Gray Knights list he was planning on using for a tournament. DaddyT thought we should do a BatRep, so here you go!

We decided neither one of us had a specific mission or deployment type we wanted to play so we just rolled randomly. We ended up rolling 1 objective each and Spearhead deployment. DaddyT won the roll for 1st Turn and Deployment.

Stormtalon cheese?

So after a bit of though I have thrown out an idea of a tactic with the Stormtalon to some forums to get some input on it. Now I will throw it out to you guys.

The Escort Craft special ability states that the Stormtalon can escort a unit with a couple minor exclusions.
The unit can not Deep Strike.
A Stormtalon can not escort another Stormtalon.
and
A unit can have a max of one Stormtalon escort.

Is this our future?

Aerial Assault!: First Impressions

So I picked up the latest White Dwarf, something I have not done in the last 5+ years, in order to get a look at the new "Fast, Skimmer"s / future flyers. My initial thoughts on the Stormtalon have not been that great. As I have already filled up my Fast Attack slots with Land Speeders/Storm, and a squad of Assault/Vanguard Marines I am hesitant to invest any more $$ in to the slot. Points wise it seems a bit steep when compared to the Vendettas I normally run in my IG list and the cheaper Land Speeders I have been using in my Space Marine army.

Self Painting Challenge V2 is Over! Apoc, Orks VS Imperial!

So I ended up going to bed at about 1:00am Saturday morning in order to get the terminators close to done. Then I had the pleasure of waking up 5 hrs later so I could pack up and make the 2hr drive down to the LA Battle Bunker. So now the question is "Was it worth it?"

Self Painting Challenge V2. Update 3!

Well this evening has been productive so far. I have gotten the 3 Leman Russ tanks painted and based the Terminators. Going to jump on painting the Terminators here in a couple min. after this post is up. Here is some pictures of the Leman Russ Tanks and a picture of the overall 8,000 point Apocalypse force.

2 Leman Russ Battle Tanks and 1 Leman Russ Vanquisher ready to be primed

Ok now for the overall force.

8,000 points on a standard 6'x4' table... not much room left.

Till next time, Happy Wargaming!

Self Painting Challenge V2. Update 2!

Just a quick update here. I think I may be in for a long night to night. I have not been able to get any real work done over the last couple days. I had some events I had to attend for work so all I have been able to do is get a base coat on the Leman Russ tanks.

Hang in there!

Painting the Leman Russ should go quickly, my major concern at this point is the Terminators. I need to get 2 more sets of arms magnetized for TH/SS combo while being able to switch their shields out at a later time as I have run out of the Lion Shields. I will also have to forgo using the 3rd Drop Pod in favor of the already painted Rhino.

Wish me Luck! My next post should be after tomorrows Apoc Game. I will try to take a lot of pictures.

Till next time, Happy Wargaming!

Potential list for the Thunderdome

So I have been thinking about what army and what list I want to take into the LAtCS Thunderdome. I think the major issue I will run into is finding a list that will not only be able to beat the Draigo Wing that Biff has but one that will hopefully last though several other match-ups. Here I will go over a list I have been thinking of for using from my Imperial Guard collection.

An older pic of some of my IG.

Self Painting Challenge V2. Update 1!

Well I have not gotten as much done as I have wanted to in the last week. But with work, family and friends all eating up my time I can't complain too much. I have been able to get some work done on the Hellhammer and I realized that I need to pick up some new paint for the Leman Russ Tanks. All my paint I used for them from before have dried out. I am hoping that the Leman Russ Tanks go rather quick with painting this week as they have a rather simple paint scheme, and the Terminators should not be too bad if I don't worry about the detail. I am really worried about getting the Drop Pod done, so I may have to switch it out for the Rhino I have painted already. I am also just painting everything right now to a 3 color standard as it would take to long to get everything to a finished quality.

Broken down for the base coat.

Another self painting challenge... What have I done!?!

Well what have I gotten myself into this time. The SoCal Apoc club is having a Orks VS Imperium game on the 19th of this month. I got the OK from my better half that I could make the drive down to the LA Bunker to play. I will be bringing 8,000 points of IG and Space Marines not a problem there. The issue come when everything you have has to be painted with a 3 color minimum and I don't currently have 8,000 points of IG and Space Marines painted.

Last of the Terminators are built

So this weekend while I was watching the last episode of "Turn 8" from Beasts of War to hear about the 40k Flyers and other goodness they have going on I worked on building the last of my Space Marine Terminators. With the recent addition I was able to grab from a garage sale this brings the number of terminators I have  up to 21 (not including HQs and Special characters). I have worked out a way to have all of them set up as Assault Terminators (11 TH/SS and 10 Lightning Claws) and 10 of them to switch between Assault and the standard Terminators.

10 Assault Terminators in front, 10 Tactical Terminators in back.

The only work I have left for them now is to finish magnetizing the arms, make up 1 more CML and to paint 14 of them. I also have to order more shields. The shields come 3 to a pack and I used some of them on special characters so I am short 2 for the squad. It doesn't seem like that much but with the way I have been going about things lately it may take longer then I would like it to.

I hope to get the "How to magnetize a Land Raider Crusader/Redeemer" tutorial up this week, so keep an eye out for it.

Till next time, Happy Wargaming!

Preparing to enter the Thunderdome!

So for anyone who listens to the 40k Podcast "Life After the Cover Save" they started running what they have dubbed the "Thunderdome Survivor Series". This is a King of the Hill style campaign (1750 points) where 2 people face off and the winner gets to Live/Play another day and wait for the next challenger.

Well this last week Biffomatic (ya that same guy...) entered the Thunderdome. I was lucky enough to be there to watch a little bit of the action, but I was busy with my own game against some AssCannBack Spam from Blood Angels so I did not get to see most of the game. Luckily they gave updates of the game during the podcast. Biff brought Gray Knights to challenge the current champs Blood Angels. If you want to know how the game went you can listen to it streaming or download (free) from iTunes or from the LAtCS Forums. The results are in the last 5min or so if you want to skip most of the show. (Warning content has explicit language and subject matters not meant for children)

Throwing Paint on Plastic.

Well I broke out the paints a bit this last week to finally work on the back drop for the display board I posted about earlier. I think it came out alright. I need to do some touch up here and there but as it is a background piece I am not to worried about it.

I also set about building one of the Land Speeders I picked up from the Game Empire Tournament I attended last month. I went ahead and magnetized it for a Multi-Melta and Heavy Flamer and figured that while I was at it I might as well do the same to a free Land Speeder I was given (it is in some really bad shape, that's why it was free). I also figured that since I had the paint out already that I might as well throw some paint on the Land Speeder to at least get them started looking like the fit in the army.

Game wise I have gotten in a few games with the Tyranids (getting ties against SM and CSM) and have been trying to help some of the guys with practices games for the 1,000 point random team tournament I am running this weekend. I also got in a couple games with the Space Marines. One was a 1500 1v1 vs Blood Angels where I tabled my opponent, the other was a 3-way game (Space Marines, Necrons, Eldar) using the "Broken Alliance" mission in the back of the BRB that ended in a 3-way tie with everyone only holding their home objective. I used the newly painted Mortis Contemptors in both games and they worked wonders.

Till next time, Happy Wargaming!

Tyranids dying off? Some of my observations and tactics.

Well in my local gaming group the Tyranids look to be dying off all of a sudden. Now we did have an abnormally large % of Tyranid players for the size for our group, but all but 1 seem to be parting ways with the bugs. Now they all have different reasons one says its to focus on his Craftworld Eldar, another is going to Orks, and one is wanting a more competitive army (he is moving to Gray Knights). While the one other dedicated Nid player is stay with them because he plays just to have fun and only plays with what he has painted, and he only has Nids painted.

Army Update and other stuff.

Well it's been almost 2 weeks since my last post... it does not feel like it though. Well here is some stuff I have been up to. I ran another Tournament at my FLGS, we had some new faces show up from Bakersfield. One of them being Biffomatic, A blog follower, ended up winning with his

Fun Army Lists.

So in order to break up all the Tournaments I have been going to lately I have been running Fun/non-competitive lists at my FLGS on our weekly gaming night. I have noticed that these lists have been doing well too. Now I don't know if it's because my opponents have bad luck mixed in with their own fun lists or not. But either way I have been having fun and that's what really matters when it comes down to 40k. I want to review the lists I have run over the last couple weeks and maybe even get some feedback on weather you guys think they really are competitive lists or if you would just consider it to be a fun/gimmicky list.

My recent hobby activity.

Here is my latest update. I have done a bit of modeling lately in order to get ready for an 1850 point tournament at Game Empire Pasadena. In order to bring my 1500 point list up to the 1850 point level I had to build a few more models (I did not get them painted for the tournament). The list of new models includes a 10-man Tac Marine squad, Predator with Lascannon Sponsons (I Magnetized them... but forgot to take pictures), Razorback, and a Drop Pod. I did not end up using the Razorback, but I though I was going to get it in a list. Damn last minute list changes!

As far as the tournament went I had a lot of fun. It was my first time playing at the store, but I had met the guy running it before as he also ran the Semi-Final 'Ard Boyz last year. For my tournament buy-in I picked up a Space Marine Land Speeder (add that to the list of "stuff to build"). My first game was against Dok (check out his blog at http://www.3forint.com/) he was playing Blood Angels. His list was very fast, he had 2 Ravens, several Preds, a Razorback, and a rhino. All being led into battle by Mephy and a Libby attached to some TH/SS Terminators. You can check out his BatRep > here < I will just post some pictures. I am not going to do a BatRep for any of my games, just a quick overview.

How to Magnetize a Drop Pod Console!

Jumping Assault Marines!

As a quick update I thought I would share some Jumping Assault Marines that I had made. I thought it was odd that I have seen very few (that I can remember) that have a jumping pose that is not on a piece of terrain on a scenic base. So here is my version, enjoy.

Getting out of a hobby funk. Building a Display Board!

Well since I finished my Painted Army Self Challenge I had not really done a lot of modeling or painting, and I was kind of in a "funk" about doing anything. But when the 25th Anniversary for 40k came about and I was informed that they would be judging painting and display boards I knew how to get out of my anti-hobby funk. Lets Build a Display Board! It's related to the hobby but does not directly involve assembling models or painting.

Magnetizing a Contemptor Dreadnought

By popular demand, here is a guide to how I magnetized my Contemptor Dreadnoughts. With Pictures!

Make sure to check your magnet polarity before you glue! Check 2 and even 3 times, you don't want to mess that part up!

40K in a Flash! BatRep

So as I promised here is a BatRep from the 40k in a Flash game I had last week. It was Space Wolves VS Space Marines. We ended up playing Dawn of War / Annihilation and my opponent went first. His list from memory consisted of...

6x Gray Hunters, Meltagun
7x Gray Hunters, Meltagun
3x Thunderwolf Cav. 1 w/Power Fist, 1 w/Storm Shield, 1 w/nothing extra
1x Lone Wolf w/Power Fist(?)
5x Wolf Scouts w/Meltagun

As he did not need to take an HQ he opted not to. His territories give him a lot of wargear points and I think he spent them well with all the Power Fists and Meltaguns.

My list consisted of
5x Scouts w/Power Fist, Combi-Melta
Land Speeder Storm w/Multi-Melta
Ironclad Dread w/H.Flamer & 2 HKMs
Land Raider Redeemer

I opted to go with only 1 troop as it had a nice fast transport that I can deliver them where needed and had some decent weaponry for a low points cost. And as I had a increased cap on my vehicles I took a Land Raider Redeemer to capitalize on it, with the Ironclad to give some nice hand to hand support as well as some longer ranged fire with the HKMs.

In this campaign you don't have to show your opponent your list, this is something that a "Spy" can do for you if you get one and have a lucky roll at the start of the games. So I don't know what he took and he does not know what I have planned for him. For Deployment my opponent set his Gray Hunters on the center line to push me back as far as possible and he is outflanking with his Scouts. Everything else is coming on turn 1. I inform him that I will have everything come on the table turn 1.

SW Turn 1. He moves his Gray Hunters back 6 and runs them back. His Thunder Wolf Cav come in behind the GH and runs, same with his Lone Wolf.

SM Turn 1. I move the Ironclad in just left of center moving in with a wall and ruined building on his sides to protect his flanks. The Land Raider moves 12" in the center on my board edge. And lastly the Land Speeder Storm with the Scouts move 24" on my far right flank behind some ruins. The Dread runs a few inches closer to the Gray Hunters.

SW Turn 2. The Gray Hunters, Lone Wolf and Thunder Wolf Cav all start shifting towards the center of the table away from the Ironclad and closer to the Land Raider. The Scouts did not come in. The unit of Gray Hunters shoot a Melta at the Land Raider but miss. The Lone Wolf and Cav run closer to my right so they are closer to the center of the table without moving too close to the Land Raider.

SM Turn 2. I move the Ironclad back a bit as I don't want him to eat a Melta from the Gray Hunters too early in the game. I move the Land Raider 6" over a low wall nice and close to one of the Gray Hunter squads. The Land Speeder moves another 24" up and towards the center of the table by a 4 story ruined building. The Ironclad shoots it's HKMs at the T-Wolf Cav and misses both shots. The Land Raider uses a Flame Storm on a squad of the Gray Hunters and kills all of them, and shoots the Assault Cannon at the T-Wolf Cav with no effect.

SW Turn 3. The Wolf Scouts come in on my right flank behind my Land Speeder. The T-Wolf Cav move strait for the Land Speeder, the Lone Wolf heads for the Land Raider and the Gray Hunters head for the Land Raider. The Wolf Scouts Melta the back of the Land Speeder and destroy it. The Scouts pile out the back closer to the Wolf Scouts and away from the T-Wolf Cav. The Gray Hunters Melta the Land Raider and Immobilize it. The Lone Wolf runs toward the Land Raider and the T-Wolf Cav run towards the scouts.

In assault the T-Wolf Cav make it to the scouts after passing a difficult and dangerous test for moving into the wreaked Land Speeder. In the combat 1 scout dies and cav take 0. The Scouts run and get away about 6 inches. The T-Wolf Cav follow them close behind.

SM Turn 3. I move up the Ironclad and Scouts continue to fall back. In the Shooting phase the Ironclad shoots at the Gray Hunters killing 1 with a Melta shot. The Redeemer splits its fire. 1 Flamestorm at the Gray Hunters and 1 at the T-Wolf Cav that are running after the scouts. I put 2 wounds on the T-Wolf Cav and take the Gray Hunters down to 2 men. The Scout Sargent shoots his Combi-Melta at the T-Wolf Cav as it may be the only time he gets to shoot and gets a wound through killing 1 of the Cav.

In the assault the Ironclad charges the 2 remaining Gray Hunters killing 1. They do nothing in return and pass their test.

Yay I got into the action!

SW Turn 4. The Wolf Scouts move towards my board edge and closer to the fleeing Scouts. The Lone Wolf Moves again towards the Land Raider (now within charge distance of the Raider and the Ironclad Dread.) The T-Wolf Cav move in between the fleeing Scouts and the Land Raider. The Wolf Scouts run closer to my table edge and the Scouts. The T-Wolf Cav Charge my Scouts and kill 3, the Power Fist Sargent kills the Storm Shield Wolf. I pass my test and hold fast. The Loan Wolf assaults the Land Raider instead of the Ironclad, destroying a weapon. The Ironclad wiffs and does nothing to the last Gray Hunter.

SM Trun 4. Nothing moves as it's all locked in combat or immobilized. The Land Raider puts all it's fire into the Lone Wolf and kills it. The Ironclad kills the last Gray Hunter and consolidates closer to the Land Raider. The T-Wolf Cav with Power Fist faces off with the Scout Sargent with Power Fist... They both swing, and the T-Wolf Cav takes 1 wound bringing him down to 1 and the Sargent takes 2 wounds from the Cav Fist finally turning him into goo. The T-Wolf Cav. consolidates towards the Land Raider.

SW Turn 5. The Scouts stay in some cover. The T-Wolf Cav. moves and assaults the Land Raider. The result is only that the Land Raider is Stunned.

SM Turn 5. The Ironclad moves and shoots the T-Wolf Cav. The T-Wolf Cav. dies to the Meltagun.

Now it's down to the Ironclad and the Wolf Scouts. The Game continues to turn 6.

SW Turn 6. The Wolf Scouts move and run away from the Ironclad. They are now on my table edge behind a hill.

SM Turn 6. The Ironclad moves and runs towards the Scouts.

If this goes 1 more turn the Scouts will have no where to run as the Ironclad will be in Flamer range and may even be in charge range no matter where they go. But the game Ends. The Celestial Lion Space Marines win 3-2.

The Territory that the Space Wolves put up was worth 10 wargear, the Territory that I put up was worth 10 points to the army size (but increases by d6x10 because I wagered it, and is now worth 20 points), the Territory generated was also worth 10 wargear. As I won I kept my territory and chose to go with the new territory as it was the same as what my opponent wagered.

My MVP had to be my Scout Sargent with Power Fist. He was able to finish off a couple of the T-Wolf Cav. and put a wound on the last one allowing the Ironclad to seal the deal with a Melta shot. I will have to give him a new Purity Seal for his good work.

I will have to remember to take more pictures to help liven up the BatReps a bit. Now only if I had a video camera...
